On December 6, 2025, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted a major raid at the residence of Hanamkonda Additional Collector (Revenue) A. Venkat Reddy. This was a day after he was caught accepting a bribe of ₹60,000. The search started early morning and lasted for several hours. Officials seized more than ₹30.3 lakh in cash from his house. Besides cash, they also recovered many land-related documents and gained access to multiple lockers. These items are now being closely examined. Investigators said the raids are a follow-up to the Friday bribe trap. The large amount of cash and property papers have widened the investigation. Officers are checking if these assets match the officer’s known income. The probe is still ongoing.
