MAGA Influencer Andrew Branca Sparks Outrage Over Claims on Indian SAT Scores and Intelligence
December 6, 2025
MAGA influencer Andrew Branca caused controversy on X by making harsh claims about India and other third-world countries. He blamed third-world nations for crime, saying, “These third-world monsters raped hundreds upon hundreds of girls, many of them children, all across Britain, on organized rape-gangs.” He then focused on Indians, arguing their high SAT scores are fake because "The Indians cheat on the SAT, that's why." Branca also questioned Indian intelligence, stating, “There are 1.5 billion people in India, average IQ ~75, and statistically only 0.005% of them would be expected to have an IQ of 140 or greater.” He compared this with Europe, claiming Indians are "1/100th as likely to have a genius-level IQ as someone of Western European white ancestry" and joked about importing “many millions of these ‘genius’ Indians.” Branca's comments came after another post said Indians rank second in SAT scores by ethnicity, just behind Koreans. The SAT tests skills in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving mostly for US college admissions. The College Board does not release SAT scores by nationality, so official data on Indian students’ performance is unavailable.
