Flight cancellations at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) continued on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with IndiGo suspending 115 services. Of these, 61 were departures and 54 arrivals. This adds to a growing list, making a total of 519 IndiGo flights canceled at RGIA since December 3, extending disruptions into a fifth day. Passengers are anxious about upcoming trips as IndiGo promises a gradual reduction in cancellations but with no clear confirmation for many flights. The daily IndiGo cancellations at RGIA were: December 3 - 31, December 4 - 74, December 5 - 155, December 6 - 144, and December 7 - 115. A pilgrim named Vamsi Kancharla shared his concern: “We are a group of nine pilgrims, including two kids, travelling to Sabarimala today with our Irumudi. Kindly ensure our IndiGo flight 6E950 from Hyderabad to Cochin at 3.55 p.m is not cancelled as it would severely impact our pilgrimage. Please help us reach on time for Darshan.” A CRPF personnel flying on December 12 appealed for better information, saying, “IndiGo management should publish a list of flights going to be cancelled in the next coming days so that passengers like me can make alternative arrangements. I have booked a Patna to Hyderabad flight and am still afraid whether I will be able to board the flight and join my duty.” IndiGo statement from December 6 said the airline had reduced operations to stabilise its system: “Addressing the recent disruptions in our network, we had cancelled a significant number of flights and operated a little above 700 flights yesterday connecting 113 destinations. The main objective was to reboot the network, systems, and rosters so that we could start afresh today with a higher number of flights and improved stability, and there are some early signs of improvement.”
