IndiGo has canceled 10 flights but will operate 11 flights from Visakhapatnam (Vizag) on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The operating flights include routes to Chennai, Delhi, Vijayawada, Abu Dhabi, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Tirupati, and Raipur. Canceled flights mainly connect Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Bombay, Chennai, and Kolkata. Flight numbers operating on Sunday include 6E845 to Chennai, 6E579 to Delhi, and 6E1444 to Abu Dhabi, among others. Cancelled flights include 6E307 to Hyderabad, 6E218 to Bengaluru, and 6E6585 to Bombay. Fares are soaring. On December 6, tickets from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam ranged between ₹73,716 and ₹1,00,682. Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam fares were from ₹10,468 to ₹33,769. Chennai to Visakhapatnam fare was ₹49,033. K. Vijay Mohan, president of the Tours and Travels Association of Andhra, said, “The government should protect passengers and ensure 100% refunds for cancelled flights, and allow hassle-free rebooking without extra charges apart from provision of hotel accommodation to stranded passengers.”
