A muslim boy was brutally thrashed by the family of his Hindu beau in Saharanpur, UP. Tannu Saini was a 19 year old BSc student alongside Zia-ur-Rehman. Found lying unconscious with severe injuries outside the house after his parents were informed, the boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was shifted to Dehradun, where he died. The girl, too, hung herself after the incident. No FIR has been filed by either family; however the police is looking into the investigation while being cautious of not letting a communal outbreak happen.
