Due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, many European countries are not willing to directly import oils from Russia, which is one of the reasons of high demand of India’s refined oil exports. Netherlands became the nation’s top market for India’s diesel and petrol, making 9% of the total petroleum exports, while Brazil came in among the top eight importers from India, gaining 273% growth since last year. South Africa also rose to 13th positions, valuing 5.13% of total petroleum shipments. India’s demand comes in at the fact that it is buying cheap crude from Russia.
