When asked on Tuesday about India’s oil relationship with Russia, Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar reasoned that the nation’s ties with the soviet country have benefitted it very heavily and he will continue to endorse in the same for our boons. India’s oil import from Russia has increased from 0.2% to 22% from last year. Even trades have gone significantly up, profiting to $30 billion annual trade volume. While addressing the Ukraine attack, Jaishankar clarified that the nation will do everything for the tragedy as global economy is too inter-dependent.
