Dense fog is causing flight disruptions at several airports in Northern India. Jaisalmer Airport advised passengers to keep in touch with airlines for real-time flight updates. Delhi Airport operations remain smooth, the airport confirmed. On Sunday, IndiGo issued a travel advisory warning of low visibility problems at Bangalore and Amritsar. The airline said, "Low visibility and fog over #Bangalore and #Amritsar have impacted flight schedules. We’re keeping a close watch on the weather and doing our best to get you where you need to be, safely and smoothly." IndiGo asked travelers to stay updated on flight status via its official channels and assured full support. Bagdogra Airport also warned of possible flight disruptions due to dense fog but expects conditions to improve soon. The airport stated, "Due to dense fog and low visibility, flights to and from Bagdogra may be affected. Conditions are expected to improve in the next few hours. Passengers are advised to check flight status with their airline before coming to the airport." The Airports Authority of India (AAI) highlighted visibility issues across northern India, potentially causing flight delays or changes. At Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya, two flights were canceled because of fog. These include Air India Express flight IX1284/IX1274 on the Delhi-Ayodhya-Delhi route and SpiceJet flight SG615/SG614 on the Mumbai-Ayodhya-Ahmedabad sector. Fog continues to challenge airport operations in the north, and passengers are urged to stay alert and check updates before traveling.
