Hyderabad CM Hands ₹1 Crore Each to Families of Fallen Constables

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy handed over ₹1 crore ex gratia cheques to the families of two constables who lost their lives on duty. This support was given to the family of Excise Constable Gajula Soumya, who died after a car ran over her while she was working.
Similarly, ₹1 crore was given to the family of Police Constable Pramod Kumar, who passed away from injuries after being stabbed by miscreants last October.
The Chief Minister personally gave the cheques during a programme held in Nizamabad. He expressed his deep condolences to the families and assured them of the government’s ongoing support.
