Cyberabad Police Offers ₹1 Lakh Accidental Insurance for 150 Traffic Marshals

Cyberabad Police announced a ₹1 lakh accidental insurance cover for 150 traffic marshals working with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council. The insurance aims to improve welfare and protect these citizens who manage traffic daily. Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh said the insurance, sponsored by Score10, will offer financial security to marshals and their families if accidents happen while on duty. He called traffic marshals an important part of the city's traffic system, working with full legal authority in risky road conditions. The Commissioner added that there will be awareness programs like 'No Honking' campaigns and basic legal training for traffic marshals. Score10 chairman Narayana Swaroop praised the marshals, saying they show great commitment and have even saved lives during tough times. He said the one-year insurance cover will protect them during medical emergencies. The announcement happened at a meeting attended by senior police officers, Score10 representatives, SCSC officials, and traffic marshals from across the Cyberabad area.
