Kannada Film Hakkigagi Wins NETPAC Jury Award at Bengaluru International Film Festival

Hakkigagi, a Kannada film directed by Garghee Karehaklu from Shivamogga, won the NETPAC Jury Award at the 17th Bengaluru International Film Festival. The festival ended on February 6. Both director Karehaklu and producer H.S. Harish received ₹50,000 each. They are founders of Pari Movie Makers. The film focuses on nature conservation. It was shot in Hosanagara and Sagar taluks of Shivamogga district. The cast and crew are mostly from Shivamogga. The main actors include Sanvi, Padmashree Harekoppa, Nagaraj Neel, and Sindhu. Senior journalist Nagesh Hegde plays a key role. Yadu Nandan composed the music, Pradeep Aryan handled cinematography, and Samson J. Simon edited the film. Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao gave away the awards at the festival's closing ceremony in Bengaluru.
