PM Modi to Address NDA Rally in Madurai on March 1

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting organized by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Madurai on March 1, said BJP State president Nainar Nagenthran. The visit was originally scheduled for February 28 but got postponed to March 1. Mr. Nagenthran announced this after the Namo Trophy Salem Marathon flag-off at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Salem. He highlighted that five lakh NDA cadres participated in the Maduranthagam meeting, which motivated the people to seek change in Tamil Nadu. There is also talk about new parties possibly joining the NDA. However, no committee has been announced yet to manage talks with new parties. Mr. Nagenthran stated, "There is still time for elections and when the time comes, talks on seat allocation and candidate selection will happen."
