House Democrat Slams Justice Dept for Hiding Epstein Abusers’ Names, Calls for Attorney General Probe
February 10, 2026
On Monday, Jamie Raskin, a top House Democrat, slammed the Justice Department for making “mysterious redactions” in Jeffrey Epstein documents. These changes hid the names of abusers but made victims’ names public. Raskin reviewed unredacted files in Washington DC on their first release day. He said, “I saw the names of lots of people, who were redacted for mysterious or baffling or inscrutable reasons.” He told reporters, “There were tons of completely unnecessary redactions, in addition to the failure to redact the names of victims, and so that was troubling to us.” The next step is to question Attorney General Pam Bondi about the flawed redaction process causing this mystery.
In another development, Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of child sex trafficking, refused to answer questions from the House oversight committee.
