Andhra Pradesh launched its ₹3.32 lakh crore State Budget on February 14, focusing on growth and welfare. Lanka Dinakar, chairperson of the Twenty Point Programme Implementation, called it "a roadmap aligning Swarna Andhra with Viksit Bharat." The Budget supports irrigation, industry, and horticulture across the state. It allocates ₹8,365 crore for rural asset creation under VB-G Ram G, split 40% State and 60% Central. Big spends include ₹28,000 crore for the Visakha Economic Council, ₹30,000 crore to build Rayalaseema as a horticulture hub, ₹6,000 crore for Amaravati, and ₹6,105 crore for phase one of the Polavaram Project. Capital expenditure is set at ₹53,915 crore to spur jobs. The fiscal deficit has been reduced to 3.84%, signaling strong financial discipline.
