February 14, 2026
A large crowd of devotees gathered on Saturday at Maharaja’s College Grounds to chant the Hanuman Chalisa together. The event, organised by Avadhoota Datta Peetham, saw a huge pandal built to accommodate the participants. Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji led the chanting, with the junior seer of the ashram also present. Devotees started arriving early, eager to join the day-long spiritual programme. Organisers arranged seating and distributed prasada to everyone. Police maintained security while traffic police managed traffic near the venue to handle the large crowds. Several political leaders attended the event, including MLAs T.S. Srivatsa, G.T. Deve Gowda, and K. Harish Gowda, along with former MLAs L. Nagendra and S.A. Ramdas. The massive gathering reflected strong community spirit and devotion.
