The Bengaluru South district court received a bomb threat via email on February 16 at around 12:35 p.m. The sender claimed that 12 RDX bombs were planted inside the court complex on Bengaluru's outskirts. Police were alerted immediately, and multiple teams, including bomb disposal squads and canine units, rushed to the site. To ensure safety, the court complex was evacuated, clearing staff, advocates, and litigants from the premises. After a detailed search, police declared the threat a hoax. The quick action prevented any harm and restored calm at the court.
