Sri Bhramaramba Temple Priests Perform Purnahuthi and Dwajavarohanam on Mahasivaratri at Srisailam

On February 17, 2026, the priests of Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple performed "Purnahuthi" and "Dwajavarohanam" rituals on the 10th day of the Mahasivaratri Brahmotsavams at Srisailam. Special pujas were held at the Yagashala. Purnahuthi involved offering coconuts, new clothes, and precious stones as per tradition. In the evening, Dwajavarohanam was conducted, followed by Sadasyam and Nagavalli ceremonies.
The Brahmotsavams festival will conclude on February 18. Priests will perform special pujas and rituals in the morning. The processional deities will be taken out on a ride on Aswa Vahanam. The day will end with Pushpotsavam, an offering with flowers, and Sayanotsavam at night.
