IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu declared BioAsia 2026 a big success. The event surpassed all hopes and highlighted Telangana’s strong progress in Life Sciences. The 23rd annual BioAsia hosted 4,394 registrants including global experts. They took part in over 4,000 high-profile business meetings, creating new worldwide partnerships. The conference covered innovations in AI, automation, cell and gene therapies, and advanced manufacturing. Delegates came from countries like New Zealand, South Korea, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Denmark, the U.S., and Ireland. Telangana is pushing to build a future-ready ecosystem that turns science into real healthcare. The newly launched Next Gen Life Sciences Policy 2026–30 aims to draw global money, talent, and expertise. It focuses on better patient care worldwide. The Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad launched the Telangana Hospital - Industry Innovation Bridge at the event to support hands-on learning. BioAsia also honored five startups with Innovation Awards. These were Achala Health Services, Exquinz Life Sciences, Helex, Natural Solutions & Nutraceuticals, and Sree Guravey Life Sciences. Achala Health Services uses a Small Language Model to automate hospital tasks. Exquinz Life Sciences integrates AI in digital vaccine vial monitors. Helex develops gene therapies for kidney diseases. Natural Solutions & Nutraceuticals created a herbal product to fight respiratory viruses. Sree Guravey Life Sciences works on BioMap Markers for biopsy procedures. The event clearly confirmed Telangana’s lead in global Life Sciences innovation.
