Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Sudhakar Singh from Buxar has demanded that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar end all ties with Bill Gates and his Foundation. In a letter dated February 17, 2026, made public on February 18, Singh raised serious concerns about Bill Gates’ name appearing in the Epstein Files. "Documents released by the U.S. government’s Justice Department detail Bill Gates’ relationship with Jeffrey. In this regard, his ex-wife and former Gates Foundation coordinator, Melinda Gates, has expressed embarrassment and regret," Singh wrote. He highlighted ongoing worldwide protests against people linked to Epstein and noted surprise that the Gates Foundation works closely with the Bihar government on many policy matters. Singh revealed that Foundation-appointed individuals serve as assistants to senior IAS officers and are paid lakhs of rupees monthly. These staff have easy access to important policy information. Singh questioned the legal basis and transparency of these appointments and emphasized that this involvement threatens Bihar’s policy sovereignty. The letter also questioned the purpose of the Gates Foundation-sponsored Center for Health and Agriculture Policy in Patna and the sharing of sensitive state policy information with the Foundation. Singh warned that since Bill Gates himself is under scrutiny for sexual abuse allegations tied to Epstein, Bihar must immediately distance itself from the Gates Foundation and the Patna center. He called for a thorough probe into the senior IAS officers working with Gates Foundation staff. Singh demanded answers on whether these appointments are covered by proper agreements and if safeguards protect sensitive data. "The involvement of an organization of a sexual exploiter in policy decisions related to the daughters of Bihar can never be accepted," Singh concluded. This startling call reflects growing concerns over foreign influence and the fallout from the Epstein scandal in India’s political and administrative circles.
