Ayodhya is buzzing with festive vibes! The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust proudly announced on Monday that all temple construction, including the majestic main shrine of Prabhu Shri Ramlalla, is now complete. In a joyful post on X, the trust declared, "It is with great joy that we inform all devotees of Prabhu Shri Ramlalla Sarkar that all Mandir construction work has been completed." Remember the big moment on January 22, 2024, when the idol of Lord Ram was consecrated with PM Narendra Modi gracing the occasion? Well, Modi might visit Ayodhya soon again, with a flag hoisting ceremony planned on November 25! Security checks have already kicked into high gear at Ayodhya Airport to prep for the grand event. Dhirendra Singh, the airport director, said, "We ensure that there is no lapse in security in any way," highlighting the serious preparations despite no official confirmation of Modi’s visit. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath couldn’t hide his excitement and praised the faith of Ram devotees. Speaking from Lakhimpur Kheri, he said, "Just a few years ago, many people believed the Ram temple would remain only a dream. But today, the grand temple stands completed, with Ayodhya regaining its ancient splendour." He added passionately, "When Ram devotees raised their voice for the temple, many dismissed it as an impossible dream. But those devotees never wavered. Their determination and faith have brought us to this historic moment." The numbers speak volumes too! More than six crore devotees visited Ayodhya last year, a massive leap from earlier, when only a few lakh visited annually, says CM Yogi. The completed marvels include the main Ram Temple and six other temples dedicated to Mahadev, Ganesh Ji, Hanuman Ji, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, and Maa Annapurna, plus the Sheshavatar Mandir. Flags and kalash (pinnacles) now crown these temples, adding vibrant colors to the sacred skyline. Seven mandapas honoring revered sages like Rishi Valmiki, Rishi Vashishtha, and Devi Ahilya have also been fully built. The Sant Tulsidas Mandir stands complete, with charming statues of Jatayu and the Squirrel installed. Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is busy laying smooth roads and stone flooring. Meanwhile, GMR is crafting lush greenery and developing the Panchvati area, sprawling over 10 acres. The only work still going on is behind the scenes and not for public use, including a 3.5-kilometer boundary wall, trust office, guest house, and auditorium. Ayodhya is ready to welcome millions with open arms and a dazzling new look. The dream many called impossible is now a brilliant, living reality!
