Hold your breath! Haryana Police's Special Task Force (STF) swooped down and arrested the infamous gangster Amar Singh, also known as Muchh, on November 25, 2025. He is a key member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Rana or Nauni Rana gang. The arrest happened on Karnal-Indri road after the STF got a sharp tip-off. Inspector Deependra Singh led the team that caught Amar Singh, who has a long list of criminal cases against him. The police recovered a foreign-made automatic pistol and bullets from Amar Singh. The very next day, November 26, Amar Singh was produced in court and police got six days to question him thoroughly. During this grilling, Amar Singh spilled the beans! He confessed that his gang leader, Nauni Rana, had ordered him to bring explosives to Karnal for a massive attack. Amar had hidden these deadly materials at a secret spot, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. But the STF was hot on his trail! On November 28, the team dug up the hidden place near Jhinjhari village beside Karn Lake, Karnal, and found two hand grenades and an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). They called in bomb disposal experts and the Forensic Sciences Laboratory team who safely disposed of these dangerous devices. Officials said the gang planned a violent act in Karnal and nearby areas. The police statement added, "Gangster Kala Rana and his father Joginder Singh are already behind bars under the UAPA and organised crime charges, but their gangs were still plotting big crimes. The quick STF action stopped a huge tragedy and saved lives." Amar Singh's crime record is chilling. Active in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab for years, he is linked to brutal cases, including the murder of a political leader, his driver, and gunman at the Noida-Ghaziabad border. He is also charged with kidnapping and killing a youth in Ambala, robbing an Army officer’s vehicle in Yamunanagar, and several other crimes involving theft, arms, and conspiracy in Noida and Ghaziabad.
