Eluru District Collector K. Vetri Selvi announced that health pensions under the CKDu programme will be delivered directly to beneficiaries’ homes in Gopinathapatnam Secretariat, Unguturu mandal on Monday, December 1. This is part of the NTR Bharosa pension distribution for December. The pension payments will start at 7 a.m. on December 1 under the State government's flagship NTR Bharosa scheme. In Eluru district, 2,59,688 beneficiaries will receive pensions totaling ₹113.63 crore. The administration aims for 100% distribution on the first day. Those unable to receive their pension on December 1 can collect it on December 3, Wednesday. The district has deployed 5,039 mandal secretariats and government staff to ensure smooth delivery. Collector K. Vetri Selvi directed that the pension distribution must start promptly at 7 a.m. and that beneficiaries are informed in advance to receive payments at home. The Rural Development Project Director will coordinate communications to guarantee efficient pension delivery. After the pension handouts finish, a public outreach programme will take place in Nallamadu. This initiative highlights the government's effort to ease access for pensioners and support health-related needs under the CKDu programme.
