Minister for Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh will attend the CII Big Picture Summit 2025 in Mumbai on December 1 and 2. The summit’s theme is ‘The AI Era – Bridging Creativity and Commerce.’ Durgesh will introduce Andhra Pradesh’s new Film Tourism Policy designed to strengthen the state's film industry. He plans to invite global investors to establish international-standard film studios, dubbing theaters, and post-production units in Andhra Pradesh. In a statement on November 30, he said the government will offer incentives and subsidies to attract industrial units. “By showcasing A.P.’s historical structures and natural beauty on the silver screen, the State can achieve international recognition,” Durgesh said. The Minister aims to transform Andhra Pradesh into a creative hub called ‘Andhra Valley.’ This initiative is part of efforts to help India’s media and entertainment sector reach a $100 billion goal.
