Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met HUDCO Chairman Sanjay Kulshrestha on Monday. He urged HUDCO to offer loans at lower interest rates to support major state development projects. These projects include Bharat Future City, Hyderabad Metro Rail extension, Regional Ring Road, and Radial Roads. The Chief Minister also discussed greenfield road plans from Bharat Future City to Chennai via Bangalore and Amaravati. Another proposed road connects to Machilipatnam port in Andhra Pradesh. Plans for a bullet train service were also mentioned. Mr. Reddy brought up the challenge of high-interest loan payments and requested loan restructuring. The HUDCO chairman responded positively and said that loans for Indiramma houses have already been approved. He also promised to fund another 10 lakh houses soon. The Chief Minister invited Mr. Kulshrestha to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City on December 8 and 9. The meeting included top officials like Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, and others.
