Muzaffarnagar Police Remove Over 55 Mosque Loudspeakers for Sound Limit Violations

Muzaffarnagar police have taken down over 55 loudspeakers from different mosques for breaking Supreme Court sound limit rules. The action was taken in the Civil Lines, Kotwali, and Khalapar police station areas. Circle Officer Sidharth Mishra said the district administration has ordered caretakers of mosques, temples, and gurdwaras to strictly follow Supreme Court and government directives on loudspeaker use. Mr. Mishra added, "The ongoing drive aims to ensure that all existing loudspeakers operate within permissible legal sound levels." The campaign enforces noise control to maintain peace and follow legal guidelines.
