Residents near Seeb can join a special stargazing event on Thursday, December 4. The Oman Society of Astronomy and Space (OSAS) and Muscat Municipality are hosting the session. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, telescopes will be set up at the Green Walk in South Mabela. Visitors can observe the December Supermoon, a bright and large full moon, and Saturn with its rings. No prior astronomy knowledge is needed. The event welcomes everyone—families, hobbyists, and curious minds alike—to enjoy the night sky in a relaxed setting. OSAS calls this a chance to join the “Friends of the Sky” community of sky watchers. This open public space aims to make astronomy easy and fun for all. OSAS members will guide visitors, helping them understand what they see while enjoying the celestial show. Drop by anytime during the evening for a heavenly experience under the stars.
