Rome to Charge Tourists €2 to Visit Trevi Fountain Up Close from 2026

From February 1, 2026, visitors to Rome must pay €2 to get near the Trevi Fountain. The fee aims to ease crowds and fund fountain upkeep, raising €6.5m yearly.
