Global Brands Eye India’s Growth Potential and Consumer Market

India has become an attractive destination for global consumer brands due to its young population and increasing disposable income. In recent months, several international brands, including Brioni, Laderach, Nine West, Foot Locker, NARS Cosmetics, Pottery Barn Kids, Maje, and Sandro, have either entered or announced plans to enter the Indian market. These brands are working with local partners to establish their presence. Deloitte predicts that India will become the third-largest consumer market by 2030, following the US and China. The addition of international brands to Indian companies’ portfolios expands options for customers seeking fresh styles.
