The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently investigating the case of Azad Yousuf Kumar, who was trained for combat in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Despite his endangerment at the Black Sea, there has been limited progress made with the Russian government regarding his return. On March 8, the CBI dismantled a human trafficking network that was involved in sending Indian individuals into the war zone. The agency has also identified key facilitators in this illegal operation. For more details, click on the link above.
