PM Modi on Maruti success as sign of strong India-Japan relations

Sunday witnessed a video-conference planting of Maruti-Suzuki’s third venture in Haryana’s Industrial Model Township (IMT), Sonipat. PM Modi being present at the digital event spoke highly of it, as another step showcasing the strong Indo-Japan relationship. Haryana CM chimed about this as another push to establish “Self-reliant India”. The project, costing over 18,000 Cr, will employ 11,000 people; becoming one of the 28% Japanese companies investing in Haryana.
