Lower respiratory tract infections recorded in Mumbai with increasing Covid-19 cases

A survey of 200 covid patients in Mumbai hospitals, after the highest record of 70 new cases in 52 days, has shown a marginal number to be witnessing lower respiratory tract infections in the lungs. Although, most are going through common symptoms of runny nose, sore and swollen throat; these lung infections are rarely being noticed in senior citizens. Doctors claim the worry isn’t needed as these symptoms aren’t fatal yet, and the ongoing monsoon season has been a passive contributor.
