India’s prestige and stature have increased on the world stage under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Speaking at a National Security Conclave at the University of Jammu, Singh highlighted that the world now pays close attention to India’s voice, in contrast to the past. He attributed this change to the Modi-led government, stating that India’s prestige and stature were not taken seriously before 2014. Singh’s comments follow PM Modi’s recent successful visits to the US and Egypt, where several significant agreements were signed. During these trips, PM Modi received praise from world leaders, demonstrating his international popularity and influence.
