In a recent interview with journalist Arzu Kazmi, Sajid Tarar, a Pakistani businessman based in the US, praised India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated that Pakistan should learn from India and Modi. Tarar said, ‘If you can’t learn, then at least copy India or Bangladesh.’ He also criticized Pakistan for its lack of progress and said that they only know how to make fools of themselves. Tarar’s remarks come at a time when India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission has been successful and PM Modi has been honored with the highest civilian award in France. It remains to be seen how Pakistan responds to these comments.
