Japanese Start-up Develops Gundam-like Robot with $3 Million Price Tag

Tokyo-based start-up Tsubame Industries has unveiled its latest creation, a 4.5-meter-tall robot named ARCHAX that bears a striking resemblance to the popular Japanese animation series ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’. This giant humanoid robot, priced at $3 million, features cockpit monitors that enable the pilot to control its movements using joysticks. Tsubame Industries plans to build and sell five of these incredible machines, catering to the wealthy fans of robots. However, CEO Ryo Yoshida envisions a broader purpose for ARCHAX, including its potential use in disaster relief or the space industry. With this creation, Tsubame Industries aims to showcase Japan’s expertise in animation, games, robots, and automobiles.
