Air India Express Unveils Orange and White Livery as Low-Cost Carriers Opt for a Fresh Look

Orange is becoming the new go-to color for low-cost carriers in the airline industry. Traditionally, full-service carriers have favored red and blue in their logo and livery. However, more low-cost carriers are now choosing orange and white. Air India Express, the latest airline to adopt this color scheme, revealed its new livery. The airline, which has merged with AirAsia India, plans to phase out the Air Asia India brand. Air India Express also has ambitious plans to expand its fleet, with a target of adding a new aircraft every six days until the end of 2024. The airline’s CEO, Campbell Wilson, confirmed that they have already received the first two out of the 190 Boeing 737 Max aircraft they have ordered. This signifies the airline’s commitment to growth and providing more options for travelers.
