A bus and truck collision in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, central India, resulted in the death of at least 13 people. The accident occurred on Wednesday night and claimed the lives of twelve bus passengers and the truck driver. Another 16 individuals sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. India faces a high number of road accidents due to reckless driving, poorly maintained roads, and aging vehicles. According to police, more than 110,000 people are killed each year in road accidents across the country.
