In Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand, governed by Congress and JMM respectively, public holidays have been declared to observe the consecration ceremony. Odisha, governed by BJD, has also announced a holiday. These are the only states not governed by BJP that have officially declared holidays for the occasion.
