China pulls veto on India’s proposed terrorist in UN assembly

After five consecutive holds in four months and twice within two days in the UN assembly, China, a permanent member,  has put a hold on the proposal of India and the US to blacklist a senior member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT),  Hafiz Talah Saeed as a global terrorist, under the 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council. Saeed is a Pakistan-based terrorist who has been responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and is a senior member of the LeT terrorist organization; announcing openly for the group to focus on terrorism in India and US.
