MNS chief Raj Thackeray will be meeting his party’s core committee to discuss the ongoing talks with the BJP. Sources suggest that Thackeray may not be offered a Lok Sabha seat but could be accommodated for state and civic elections. In exchange, he is expected to campaign for Mahayuti during the Lok Sabha elections. Maharashtra CM Fadnavis hinted at a meeting between Thackeray and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Meanwhile, Fadnavis and party state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule are visiting constituencies with declared candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
